Kristen Stewart to Front New Balenciaga Scent {Fragrance News - Celebrity}
Actress Kristen Stewart will be the new face of Balenciaga parfums with a "second-chapter" women's fragrance to come out in the fall of 2012. The house's art director Nicolas Ghesquière said,
“Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,“From her early appearance in ‘Panic Room’ to her independent choice of ‘Welcome to the Rileys,’ I’ve always sensed her progressive character. In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”...
On her end, Stewart said that Balenciaga was one of the first fashion labels she instinctively recognized when she knew little about the field in the beginning of her career.
Her "innate rebel style," dixit Catherine Walsh of Coty Prestige, is seen as a perfect fit for the brand, together with her mix-and-match fashion style.
The actress has been associated with perfume in the past through the Twilight franchise; the first time, it was with "Twilight", a fragrance whose bottle aped the Nina Ricci Nina bottle. Then in 2011, another fragrance, "Bella," attempted to capture the elusive scent of the character of the saga.
According to a report at Hollywood Life, Kristen Stewart never wears perfume personally and naturally smells of grass...
She endorsed in passing "Burberry Brit" for a March 2007 issue of Interview Magazine in which she was also said to wear a Burberry Prossum belt.
