L'Artisan Parfumeur Support Mali Action with Les Messages d'Amour {Fragrance News}
From January 30th 2012 to March 30th 2012, L'Artisan Parfumeur will be hosting an event organized in partnership with Tree Aid for the second consecutive time, to help plant trees in Mali. The charity's mission is advertized with the words "In Africa, trees mean life." The organization provides help and guidance in generating skills and income around reforestation actions at the community level. This particular African country was selected to pay homage to Timbuktu, a fragrance composed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, which is inspired by a travel he undertook there...
Starting on January 30th, you can thus visit a L'Artisan store to pick up pink paper hearts on which you are invited to write your most sincere, funny, poetical, quirky, personal etc message of love, then slip it into a giant fragrance bottle, or alternatively leave it on Facebook. For every 20 hearts that will be harvested by the house, a tree will be planted in Mali. You will also be entered to win perfume bottles for you and your loved ones.
