Thierry Mugler Miroir des Majestés Continues to Court the Middle East (2012) {New Fragrance}
Thierry Mugler will launch their second scent dedicated exclusively to the Middle Eastern market after the oud-rich Miroir des Voluptés in 2010. It is called Miroir des Majestés and takes inspiration from the ostentatious, sumptious palaces of the Orient.
"Miroir des Majestés (Mirror of Majesties) is a new addition to the Miroir Miroir Collection [from 2008]. It offers women the possibility to take center stage and reveal the queen of the thousand and one nights hidden in each one of us; an invitation to discover a world of opulence, dedicated to the exhilaration of the senses, where golden mirrors meld with the most precious objects."...
The composition is signed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson of Firmenich who already co-authored Miroir des Voluptés with Daphné Bugey.
Described as a "majestic woody oriental", the Eau de Parfum centers on 3 main accords which are called here "desires."
Vibrant desire: luminous coriander seeds mesh with spicy cardamom.
Voluptuous desire: orange blossom and jasmine conspire to create an ultra-feminine and suave tonality.
Intoxicating desire: amber and oud wood envelop the wearer in an opulent and warm trail.
Launch date and price still to be announced.
Estée Lauder also created an exclusive for the Middle East last year, but in a more mainstream channel, Wood Mystique. Renato Balestra, likewise, is exclusively tapping that regional market with Essenza Divina out this year.
