Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême (2012): Aromatic Musk {New Perfume} {Men's Cologne}
More news about the new Chanel perfume for men, Allure Homme Sport Extrême have arrived. Last time, the brand unveiled their new ad campaign for it, now we have more information about the notes and the concept behind the project.
The new scent is called an "aromatic musk" and rather than be presented as being classically built following the plan of a 3-tiered olfactory pyramid, it is revealed to be the result of four main blocks of accords dubbed "fresh aromatic, musky, woody and spicy"....
The new jus is said to be more aromatic than the original Allure Homme Sport. The Eau de Toilette Concentrée opens on chilly top notes of mint, Sicilian mandarin rind, Moroccan cypress slightly warmed up by ambery clary sage. It is reportedly less spicy than its predecessor while featuring black pepper from Madagascar.
In-house perfumer Jacques Polge inserted a personally hand-picked white musk accord to bring an urban note, with its cottony softness and subtly animalic character to offset the rustic aspect of the scent.
Tonka bean, with its almondy nuance, was used to create an effect of intensity.
Cedar wood migrated from Allure Sport and continues to symbolize "pure strength".
The base is underlined with milky sandalwood.
The fragrance launches on April 5, 2012.
