Jacomo Silences: A Classic Gets Revisited with a Sublime Version (2012) {New Perfume}
Jacomo are releasing a new, revisited version of their 1978 classic Silences. It is now called Silences Eau de Parfum Sublime. The composition was entrusted to perfumer Serge Majoullier of Mane.
"Secrets are silences..
Silences collect the body's emotions, as water captures the night's perfume at dawn. Only a few women will know this..."...
According to Majoullier, his work went in the direction of bringing added freshness and transparency to the green floral perfume. The chypré and leathery accords have been tuned down to better showcase the richness and allure of galbanum and narcissus.
Top notes: galbanum and cassis; heart notes: Bulgarian rose, iris, and narcissus; base notes: musks, woods, in particular sandalwood and vetiver.
The original bottle designed by Philippe de Givenchy has been slightly tweaked although it retains the mysterious, opaque black pebble-like shape.
Prices: 100 ml/ 80€, 50 ml/ 57,70€
