Vanderbilt Little Gloria (2012) {New Perfume} {Celebrity Fragrance}
Vanderbilt have launched a new perfume called Little Gloria in reference to Gloria Vanderbilt's nickname used in her childhood. It is actually dedicated to young women rather than children. The design of the flacon is reportedly inspired by the boudoir of Marie-Antoinette, probably seen through the lenses of Sofia Coppola's meringue and pastel cupcake version of the universe, this said in a good way...
Gloria Vanderbilt is 88 years old today and is not only the picture of health but a poster girl for the eternal fountain of youth - she obviously refuses to age. She is 83 in the top right picture above.
The perfume is described as being fresh, sparkling and very gourmand-y. The Eau de Toilette opens on juicy kiwi, crisp pear and pineapple. The heart showcases a voluptuous gardenia together with crystallized violets and roses. The base notes are musk, powdery vanilla and sandalwood.
Her perfume Gloria by Vanderbilt, composed by Sophia Grojsman, launched in 1982 and inspired by L'Heure Bleue, is still being sold today.
Price: 17,40€ for 30 ml.
