Dita Von Teese Meet-Up at Liberty London May 1st, 2012 {Scented Paths & Fragrant Addresses} {Celebrity Perfume}

Stage siren Dita Von Teese will launch her new eponymous perfume at Liberty London on May 1st 2012 after having debuted the fragrance in Germany last fall.

This was one of the most interesting perfume launches in the celebrity category and prestige category for women more generally in 2011...

The roll-out has been discreetly heard in the English-speaking world so far, so it's a welcome opportunity to discover a perfume which does not shy away from old-school glamor. 

"Dita Von Teese, a name synonymous with seduction, style and burlesque, is launching her eponymous first fragrance at Liberty. The scent aims to evoke glamour,elegance, and self-confident sensuality.

“I wanted it to be a perfume that smelled exactly how I imagined it. A scent needs to reflect all the different facets of my personality. It had to be elegant, glamorous, sophisticated, sexy, dark, and mysterious.”

The event takes place on May 1st from 10 am until midday. The burlesque artist will be on hand in the Fragrance Hall on the ground floor to autograph her bottles of perfume, which look fab by the way. They have this cinematic aura which makes them belong on the dresser of, say, a Veronica Lake or not be out of place on the counters of The Women by George Cukor.
