Elie Saab Le Parfum in New EDT Concentration (2012) {New Perfume}
Fashion designer Elie Saab launched a new iteration of his debut perfume Elie Saab Le Parfum, which now comes in an Eau de Toilette version.
“I come from a Mediterranean city bathed in heat and light, surrounded by vibrant nature loaded with fragrance”, says Elie Saab, adding “one scent stays firmly in my mind, that of orange blossom. The house where I grew up was surrounded by orange trees and when the breezes came through the branches they brought their ethereal fragrance with them”...
The EDT is said to be a more crystalline and ethereal interpretation of the original.
The composition by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian features notes of orange blossom - its key note - together with rose and honey which were already in the Eau de Parfum version. Added notes are mandarin tree blossom, gardenia and vetiver.
The flacon becomes more elongated while retaning the hefty style of a crystal paper-weight.
