ID Parfums Tentation de Violettes (2012) {New Perfume} {Violet Notebook}

It is called Tentation de Violettes (Violet Temptation), an allusion to the temptation the perfume exercises not just on those you seduce but on the perfumers themselves who are intrigued by the scent of violet. The composition, which takes inspiration from the carnival of Venice, was created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Véronique Nyberg...
The perfumers said that "while its is often associated with reserve and restraint, violet emits nevertheless a perfume of surprising suavity and radiance. Being iris-y, green, floral and powdery, violet offers the fragrance a contrasted, secret and bewitching sensuality. It is mischievous and almost sulfurous...a genuine temptation for the perfumer!"
The Eau de Toilette opens on top notes of cassis, raspberry leaves and pink peppercorn leading to a rich floral heart of violets and wisterias and leaving a powdery sillage blending iris and heliotrope.
Available in 60 ml eau de toilette.
