Yves Rocher Monoï Eau des Vahinés (2012) {New Perfume}
Mass-marketeer Yves Rocher will capitalize on the popularity of the scent of suntan oil this summer with a new Eau de Toilette called Monoï Eau des Vahinés.
Perfumer Nathalie Gracia-Cetto of Givaudan created the fragrance around the essence of Ylang Ylang Extra sourced from the smallest island of the Comores, Moehli...
The nose recounts that the ylang flowers on that island are harvested only when reaching full maturity presenting a special density of scent, at the intersections of those of tuberose, frangipani and lily.
The composition associates this ylang essence with Tiaré, or Tahitian gardenia, coconut and vanilla.
It suceeds an Eau Parfumante which was lighter in concentration and with a sticky texture.
