Vamping Up with HBO True Blood Forsaken Perfume & Beauty Collection (2012) {New Fragrance} {Beauty Notes}
The HBO hit show True Blood has inspired a collection of beauty and perfume products which will launch from August 9, 2012 on HSN. Leading fragrance company Givaudan crafted the signature perfume of the TV series called Forsaken eau de parfum. But that's not all. Deborah Lippmann was tapped to create one iconic nail polish, Let it Bleed, which is - surprise! - scented with Forsaken perfume, as well as two additional libraries of nail lacquers to add more variation (more details after the jump). And even more exciting news for beauty fans is the fact that Lippmann has taken this opportunity to design her first lipstick ever dubbed what else but Bite Me...
Forsaken edp is described as "an addictive blend of light and dark notes. Pulpy fruits paired with crisp pear notes are followed by mid notes of night blooming jasmine, also fittingly known as Queen of the Night. The scent closes with the dark muskiness of amber and patchouli. Ultra feminine, yet sultry, the fragrance will cast a spell on everyone."
The bottle presents two drops of blood as charms.
The scent will be incorporated besides the nail polish, in home fragrance products developed by D. L. & Co.
The Deborah Lippmann lineup besides Let it Bleed will offer the Sookie Sookie collection with full-size "Human Nature," "Fairydust" and "Bad Things;"A trio of minis will also be available with "Strange Love," "New Flesh" and "Bad Blood."
Lippmann said that a lippie being a first for her, she really wanted to bring something new to the table,
"We worked hard to create an innovative lipstick formula that provides a nail lacquer-inspired fashion-forward intensity, shine, and color."
