Santa Maria Novella Alba di Seoul (2012): Moving through a Pine Forest, I am Fascinated... {New Perfume}
Last year, the most ancient perfumery in the world, Santa Maria Novella est. 1612 in Florence launched a new perfume on October 30, 2012 in Korea called Alba di Seoul. It is inspired by characteristic scents of the Korean peninsula, and in particular by a pine forest represented on the packaging by artist Bae Bien-U...
The photographer said,
“Moving through a pine forest” “I am fascinated by the beauty....... to me these trees seem like the flesh and blood of the Korean peninsula.”
The creative process involved both general director Eugenio Alphandery and Dr. Fabrizio Morgenni, the technical director of the house.
The press office added that "the notes of the perfume were submitted to our Korean dealer, who helped us to interpret the best Korean taste."
The perfume is described as smelling of a "bouquet of fresh green and crisp top notes [which] introduces an intense heart characterized by Korean pine, and lead to woody oriental base notes."
