Diesel Fuel for Life Spirit (2013) {New Perfume} {Men's Cologne}

Diesel are launching a new fragrance for men this spring of 2013 called Diesel Fuel for Life Spirit. It is a flanker to the original Diesel Fuel for Life which was introduced in 2007 as part of a femme-homme duo. ...

This time, rather than mirror a feminine fragrance with the same name exactly, the brand are explaining that Fuel for Life Spirit was conceived - conceptually at least - as the masculine equivalent to Diesel Loverdose. This is the bottled Viagra to the love potion pour femmes they released previously.

The new scent is said to be an "ambery fougère" destined to men "who want to feel intensely alive and live their lives with passion and energy". The nose who created the eau de toilette is Fabrice Pellegrin. 

Reading the notes invite you to think this might be an interesting scent; the jus opens on head notes of cinnamon and grapefruit leading to a heart of iris and orange blossom before getting anchored by incense and ambery woods. 

It sounds pretty sensual, doesn't it? And note the cinnamon angle: it's a noted aphrodisiac for women in particular, not men. They did not forget to add some chick-magnet notes.

Will be available from April 2013 in 50, 75 and 125 ml.
