L'Occitane Rose Aurore Eau Fraîche (2013) {New Perfume}
L'Occitane en Provence have released a new limited edition rose perfume called Rose Aurore in light Eau Fraîche concentration. The story behind the perfume is based on the legendary aura surrounding the destiny of the four daughters of Count Forcalquier who all became queens in the Middle Ages...
"Every year, the four daughters of the Count of Forcalquier impatiently await the return of sunny days, when roses get back to life after their sleep all winter long.
Every morning at this time of year they go to the rose garden at dawn, to watch the first roses bloom.
Of all the roses, it is the white rose they love the most – for just as day breaks, it releases the purest, most crystal-clear scent.
As the beginning of a new day, the Rose Aurore Eau Fraîche is a fragrance that radiates a light, transparent, delightfully floral fragrance."
The perfume features notes of citruses, white rose, lotus flower and amber. The composition is said to include rose absolutes harvested in the fields of the south of France.
Price in the UK where it is already available is £37 for 75 ml which is $56 at current exchange rates. Please note however that market prices are fixed differently depending more on the psychology of prices than anything else it seems sometimes.
