Kenzo Homme Sport Extrême (2013): Chill Ad {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}
Kenzo have launched a new flanker to their 2012 Kenzo Homme Sport called Kenzo Homme Sport Extrême. Continuing with their humorous streak which ribs armchair sportsmen if the ad campaign last year featured a Nicolas Cazalé playing baby foot on the beach, this year the discrepancy between the program and the reality has been further accentuated as we see the model lazying in a beach rocking chair while taking the sun and reading about sports rather than practising them...
The perfume is dedicated to "men who never take themselves seriously". The extreme part of the fragrance name makes reference to the added fresh intensity found in the formula signed by perfumer François Demachy of LVMH. The brand promise that the sillage of the scent is lasting.
The eau de toilette is billed as a "frosted aromatic" scent. It opens on chilled mint, pepper, lemon, grapefruit and bergamot. The heart features a marine accord and elemi. The base is woodsy with cedar wood and vetiver.
The bottle imitates the shape of a bamboo shoot which looks a bit at the same time like a samurai's saber.
Prices: 52,90€ for 50 ml and 73,90€ for 100 ml.
