Les Parfums de Rosine Vive La Mariée! (2013) {New Perfume} {Rose Notebook}
French niche perfume house dedicated to the exclusive cultivation of roses, Les Parfums de Rosine, have launched a new women's perfume inspired by the biggest first rite of passage in a woman's life, her wedding day. The new scent has been called an exulting Vive La Mariée! and comes with the tag line "The fragrance of happiness!"...
The composition is said to be a delicate and gentle floral with an unforgettable trail. It also features a gourmand facet. It is signed by perfumer Benoît Lapouza.
"A bride likes to choose a delicate fragrance. Vive la Mariée is a very feminine and subtle perfume, in harmony with the feelings she feels in her heart. The floral composition of Vive la Mariée has been devised like a bride's bouquet."
The fragrance opens on top notes of a green accord, bergamot, neroli and lychee leading to a heart of white florals accented with more floral nuances with jasmin sambac, peony, magnolia flowers, freesia, rose and orange blossom. "Then toned down but still there are the happy scents of celebration. Wedding cake, sugar almonds and little choux pastries can be found in the sweetness of the praline, the fruity sensuality of peach and the whipped cream of vanilla tonka beans". The brand added "A procession of patchouli, cedar, musk and sandalwood creates a drifting note, unreal, which will be difficult to resist."
It appears that mindful of the dress symbolism of a bride, the house paid particular attention on creating a lasting sillage that would mimic the train of a wedding dress. They describe it as being "very long and tender, absolutely unforgettable."
Prices are 95€ for 50 ml and 125€ for 100 ml of eau de parfum.
