Boy Band One Direction Unveil their Debut Fragrance Our Moment (2013) {New Perfume} {Celebrity Fragrance}

British boy band One Direction unveiled their debut perfume to the press tonight in London. The jus is called Our Moment, which sounds almost pessimitistic in tone as in a wistful reference to short-lived fame. How long can a boy band survive as a boy band? Can they morph into a man band one day?...

WWD reports that the name is a reference to "Moments," a song that appeared on the group's first album, "Up All Night.”

The scent has been developed with Firmenich for over a year and features top notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries, and red currants. In the heart there are floral notes of jasmine, freesia, and frangipani. In the base there are creamy musk, sheer woods, and white patchouli.

It all sounds pretty standard, which does not mean it can't be nice-smelling. Harry Styles tweeted that the perfume smells like a "summer's day". 

The fragrance was visibly designed to appeal to their female fan base. Cue in the frilly pink bottle which comes with a reasonably sparkly crown and a grove of pink tulle. It's got the Cockney charm of fake and fun royalty symbols.

Public launch will take place at Harrods on August 25th, 2013. Hope it does not turn into a war zone.
