Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale (2013): Inspired by Water {New Perfume} {Men's Cologne}

Salvatore Ferragamo have launched a new masculine fragrance called Acqua Essenziale which is said to be inspired by water. The composition is signed by perfumer Alberto Morillas who has done a beautiful job with Bulgari MAN, bringing a new level of luminosity to masculine perfumery...

Putting the focus on a water theme rather than just creating another classic aquatic might bring out some of the same sense of research for novel sensations in men's fragrances, which can be a little too safe sometimes. The ad copy makes you think of some of the ffects found in Bulgari Man.

"With high quality citrus and crispy green notes of Mint and Lemon Tree Leaf.  Heart notes of Geranium, Rosemary and Lavender are combined with the power of a cutting-edge molecule, Cascalone, which creates the aquatic freshness.  The authenticity of woods, Patchouli, Vetiver and Cistus reinterpreted with the modernity of Helveltolide, a new musk with a unique floral yet masculine character."

The advertising is fronted by model Garrett Neff shot by photographer Camilla Akrans.
