Dolce & Gabbana pour Femme Intense (2013): Inspired by Old-School EDPs {New Perfume}
Dolce & Gabbana are launching the intense version of Dolce & Gabbana pour Femme (2012) this 2013 fall season. From a perfumery standpoint, the designers wanted to recapture some of "the richness and depth of old-school eaux de parfum" in the new Dolce & Gabbana pour Femme, Intense...
Continuing to tap into a Sicilian mythology of volcanic feminine passions, Intense is said to be the fragrance which makes its entrance when those forces are awakened in the woman who harbors them.
The tuberose, orange blossom and sweet dessert-y guimauve continue to weave their nuances in this composition which came accross as one of the best mainstream launches last year.
The eau de parfum promises to have gone crescendo since last time. It now smolders unequivocally opening on top notes of neroli and green mandarin followed by a floral heart of tuberose and orange blossom. The tuberose note is said to have been interpreted in a "deeply gourmand fashion," In the base, the "resinous and warm notes" of sandalwood mingle with musky notes and a creamy and addictive guimauve accord.
The advertising campaign continues to be fronted by model and actress Laetitia Casta and model Noah Mills doing their best in a bodice-ripper set in the land of Lampedusa.
