Philosophy Living Grace EDP & Cream (2013): A Wellness Perfume for Women Gets Stronger {New Fragrance}
Beauty and fragrance brand Philosophy known for their inspirational messages stuck on minimalist packaging launched a new perfume in 2012 called Living Grace in Eau de Toilette concentration. It has now been introduced as an Eau de Parfum - a stronger concentration - and repackaged. There is also a new body cream soufflé...
With Living Grace the brand designed the scent so as to promote wellbeing in the wearer not just by reading inspirational captions but by smelling selected fragrant molecules
"Live in grace and feel grounded in the present moment. This fragrance was formulated to help center a woman's mood, enabling her to fully embrace the beauty of living in the present moment each day. This ethereal, clean scent evokes a sensory experience that creates uplifting feelings of vibrancy, well-being, and clarity. You don't wear it, you live it."
Main notes are Fresh Neroli, Lily of the Valley, Warm Musk.
With the launch in the fall of 2013 of a Whipped Body Cream version of the scent, Philosophy further specify that,
"Living grace whipped body crème 8 oz. melts onto skin to moisturize and leave skin silky soft and lightly fragranced with the clean, ethereal scent of fresh neroli to create uplifting feelings of vibrancy, soft, clean lily of the valley brings a sense of gratitude and sensuous, warm musk embraces you to the beauty of living in the present moment each day."
Fragrance is often perceived as a superfluous product because it conveys an image of luxury. It can however become part of a wellness routine, especially so when some of the psychological effects of scent have been studied and carefully put together in a blend meant to promote such effects.
