Dita Von Teese Erotique - Only if You're a Very Bad Girl (2013) {New Fragrance} {Celebrity Perfume}
American burlesque performer Dita Von Teese released her fourth fragrance to date called Erotique at a launch party at Fred Segal on November 21, 2013 - we would have loved to attend, Jas, but alas, were too far afield to attend - responding on the blog now. The composition is inspired by vintage erotica literature and fetishistic sub-culture haloed by retro charm...
She said,
"Erotique is an aphrodisiac accomplishment, an elixir of alchemy inspired by a time when perfume meant something different than it does now. With its heady melange of opposites, Erotique's poetic contrast of leather accords and burnt embers with rare voluptuous rose is not for the faint of heart; it is intoxicating, animalistic and carnal, potent weaponry for a Maestra of the erotic arts,"...
The fragrance is said to open on "opulent rose petals" together with spicy and smoky pepper and an "unexpected coriander" note. The "decadent essence of Bulgarian rose" is contrasted with "animalistic leather notes". In the base, there are "stimulating musk, warm sandalwood, aromatic cedar and exotic Gaiac wood".
In a video interview she explains more in detail her vision behind this potent elixir for the senses while a sense of playfulness can be felt behind all the sado-masochistic paraphernalia,

Erotique is thus the latest sequel to the original Dita Von Teese in 2011 which was followed by Rouge and more recently by FleurTeese.
