Dior Hypnotic Poison Eau de Parfum (2014) {New Fragrance}

Dior have launched a new flanker to Hypnotic Poison (1998) in Eau de Parfum concentration. The other flankers such as Eau Secrète and Eau Sensuelle are in eau de toilette concentration. The brand underline the natural character of the perfume which harnesses the power of absolutes of sambac jasmine and orange blossom...

They also like to underscore how "extremely gourmand" the fragrance's atmosphere now is. 

In this new composition by perfumer François Demachy who oversees the Dior stable of perfumes, there is, we are told, the animalic charm of sambac jasmine absolute, a "welcoming" orange flower absolute, a suave and very evocative tonka bean. The licoricey facet of the scent has been pushed further with more daring. The vanilla becomes omnipresent. 

The flacon goes back to the roots of the original Poison (1985), appearing darker, more organic and slightly disquieting.
