Joan Collins I Am Woman Signature Duo (2014) {New Perfumes} {Celebrity Fragrance}
Hear Me Roar in Two Times
Actress Joan Collins of 80s Dynasty fame has launched a new fragrance called I Am Woman named presumably after Helen Reddy's 70s hit song whose opening line is "I Am Woman, hear me roar..." You can hear this perfume roar in the ambient air and in your bath soak with the Fragrant Essence version as well as on your skin with the Eau de Parfum iteration, both found in the Signature Duo ...
I Am Woman is said to be "a sensual scent with the presence and the power to inspire and seduce in equal measure. Unquestionably feminine, this Joan Collins fragrance embraces citrus top notes, a sensual musk and wood base with romantic floral scents at its heart."
Joan Collins, who at 81 looks pretty much insubmersible, is taking this opportunity to teach a lesson in artful femininity in the video below advertizing both her perfume and makeup lines.
She was previously a spokesperson for Scoundrel by Revlon (1980) and had her own signature fragrance out in 1989, Spectacular by Joan Collins.
The perfume composition reads busy old-school, complex and note-laden. It opens on Bergamot, Mandarin, Orange zest, Peach nectar, Lemon zest followed by heart notes of Green notes, Jasmine, Moss, Orange blossom, Rose, Sweet herbs, resting on base notes of Amber, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Tonka bean, Vanilla, and Cedarwood.
Collins commented that “I love it when people tell me my perfume is delicious - it makes me feel special. Fragrance is a mysterious signature, it identifies a woman.”
The fragrances are sold in the UK at QVC, 2 X 12 ml for £21. £43 for 50 ml EDP.
