Armani Code Ice Fronted by Chris Pine in Hunting Mode (2014) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}

A Sillage Designed to Seal the Deal 

Armani have launched a new masculine fragrance, a flanker to Armani Code for Men (2004) called Armani Code Ice. The advertizing campaign features actor Chris Pine who was announced back in February 2014  as the new face of Armani Code...

The new eau de toilette, which is said to be faithful flanker to the original at least in spirit, was composed by perfumer Alberto Morillas of Firmenich. He thus reprises a formula first created by perfumer Antoine Lie. 

"True to the spirit of the original Armani Code fragrance, the oriental, aromatic feel of Code Ice permeates the air with a captivating and sensual scent. A new shade of seduction for the Code man, tangy citrus notes are combined with sweet spices that blend into strong aromatic woods. Lemon, clary sage and tonka bean come together to exalt a delicate and invigorating peppermint aroma. This is a powerful yet intensely fresh fragrance, which fills the air leaving a magnetic trail that anyone would like to follow, find and smell again."

The commercial shows Chris Pine revealing the different facets of the Code man while engaged in the "pursuit" of a feminine ideal. The "pursuit" is actually presented more like a "trap" laid out by a hunter where the hunted comes to meet the hunter, attracted by the irresistible and recognizable scent. It looks like the woman is chasing the guy, but it's actually really the guy chasing the girl, thanks to its effective, magical fragrance trail. You know, like when you chase a deer.
