The Power of Fruity-Florals in the Market

American fashion designer Vera Wang will add a new perfume to her Princess collection called Princess Power, an idea which is expressed thanks to the use of bold pastel-neon colors, a dynamic print on the packaging repeating the trademark crown motif, and last but not least a novel "rainbow rose" accord...

The advertizing further reveals a connection to the hippie era slogan "Flower power". The Andy-Warhol aesthetics are also there.

Originally inspired by Wang's tween daughter, the franchise has successfully expander over the years since 2006 playing up the preppy-boho-rock-romantic vibes, a medley of aspirational styles to fit the search for identity and playfulness of teenagers.

"Effortlessly cool and stylish, this princess pops with a kaleidoscope of colours and a lively spirit that fills any room."

The "girly and modern" fragrance "bursts with an energetic palette of mouthwatering fruits and exciting florals."

The eau de toilette opens on top notes of sparkling Pear and juicy Raspberry featuring in its heart a delicate Jasmine, exotic Plumeria and "a brightly hued Rainbow Rose." The base rests on warm Blonde Woods, succulent Vanilla and Creamy Musk.

Available in 30 ml and 50 ml spray bottles from April 30th, 2014.
