The Body Shop have added a new fragrance to their Scents of the World / Parfums du Monde lineup with English Dawn White Gardenia, a limited-edition for 2014...
"Escape to the peace of a British country garden with delicate white gardenia. This glorious, lively eau de toilette from our Scents of the World fragrance collection captures the scent of hundreds of English white gardenia flowers blooming in the first light of dawn, and features a scent blend of sumptuous white flowers."
The eau de toilette features main notes of bergamot, tuberose, gardenia and white sandalwood. The scent is carried by specially sourced organic sugar cane alcohol.
The brand explain their commitment: Community Fair Trade organic alcohol comes from sugarcane that's organically grown in central Ecuador. We source it from CADO, a co-operative of over 200 smallholder family farmers. Ripe sugarcane is cut by hand, then ground to extract the juice, which is left to ferment for 24 hours and then heated to distil the alcohol. Our trade helps to provide over 500 people with a reliable source of income.
