Beyoncé Heat Wild Orchid (2014) {New Perfume} {Celebrity Fragrance}

There is a new addition to the Heat by Beyoncé range which started out in 2010. It has been baptized Heat Wild Orchid. Pantone color of the year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid 18-3224 so it is perhaps not surprising to see it echoed in the new bottle...

Orchid is also known to be the singer's favorite flower.

The eau de parfum is signed by perfumer Honorine Blanc of Firmenich. It opens on top notes of pomegranate, coconut toddy, boysenberry then fading into a heart of Butterfly Orchid "with aphrodisiacal properties", magnolia and honeysuckle. The base is warmed up by "gilded amber", skin musk and blonde woods.

The scent is described as,

"an enticing, mouth-watering fragrance that emits a fierce, feminine energy," whose "sexy background exudes texture and electricity."

Prices start at $20 for the 0.5-oz eau de parfum up to $59 for the 3.4-oz version.

It was first launched in Europe in 2014 and next in the United States in 2015.
