While an interview with Daily Mail revealed Enrique Iglesias is a homebug, the message attached to the bottle is much more that of an action movie hero,

"I have never done what was expected of me. I taste my life to the full - without limits and without regret the decisions that I make, make my heart beat faster. My first fragrance I've called Enrique Iglesias Adrenaline to produce precisely these emotional moments when you just  feel alive, "

The brand sees the new fragrance as comparable to how a cliff jump feels.

The Eau de Toilette was composed by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny of Givaudan. It's a spicy woody oriental opening on top notes of mandarin, lemon, and violet with a spicy facet of Black Madagascar pepper and saffron and fruity-gourmand Pomarose. The base is Oriental with cedarwood, toasted tonka bean, leather.

In their 2005 Annual Report, Givaudan fragrance company described Pomarose as "a very rich fruity note, reminiscent of rose and apple pie [which] perfectly meets the “gourmand” trend towards comforting smells stemming from the world of food."

As is the case with the development of many other celebrity fragrances, Iglesias explained that he showed his wardrobe of fragrances, mix-matching them to get the direction in which he wanted Adrenaline to go.

Enrique Iglesias was the face of Azzaro Man from 2009 to 2013. His successor is Ian Somerhalder.
