World-famous Fouquet's brasserie in Paris - the haunt of many celebrities - has launched a collection of 5 perfumes, 4 candles and 2 bath & body products after announcing an introduction initially set for 2012, which was delayed...
The debut fine fragrance library includes French Riviera, Rose de Marrakech, Fugue à Paris, Lune d'été and Jardins du Sud. The compositions were developed under the aegis of Parour Parfums and are signed by perfumers Corinne Cachen of Drom and Christian Dussoulier.
French actress Isabelle Adjani who was featured in the latest Gala Beauty issue around her passion as a perfumista says that Jardins du Sud in particular is very well done and one of her new favorites, together with old favorites that she mentions.
French Riviera EDP for women is a powdery fruity-floral inspired by the croisette in Cannes with notes of cyclamen, jasmine, ylang, cassis, bergamot, mandarin, lemon, iris pallida, white musks, woods, sandalwood.
Rose de Marrakech EDP for women is an ethereal modern fruity chypre with notes of pink peppercorn, bergamot, mandarin, red fruits, raspberry and cassis, rose, jasmine from Grasse, vanilla and white musks.
Fugue à Paris EDT is a spicy gourmand oriental for men with notes of saffron, origan, cinammon, nutmeg, papyrus, cashmere wood, sandalwood, vanilla absolute, balms.
Lune d'Eté EDT for men is a modern woody aromatic fougère featuring a spicy and fresh rose accord with notes of nutmeg, benzoin tears, cashmere wood, lavender, patchouli, gaïac wood, cedarwood. Inspiration is a sunset in Biarritz.
Jardins du Sud EDT is for both men and women (unisex). It is a fresh aromatic eau with a chypre character inspired by sunny Provence. It features notes of jasmine, bergamot, lemon, neroli, sage, rosemary, basil, lavender, Bourbon vetiver, Indonesian patchouli, oak moss.
