French masstige brand L'Occitane en Provence have introduced a new men's perfume called Eau de Cade, which comes as the fragrance complement to the Cade grooming line...
The beauty and perfume range is named after the name of a varietal of juniper called Cade or Genévrier Cade in French (Juniperus oxycedrus), which yields red and brown berries rather than the blue and black berries of Juniperus communis L.
The composition is woody, spicy and dry evoking the Provençal nature of "haute Garrigue" with its "dry wood, red earth and hot stones".
Top notes are bergamot; heart notes are cedarwood and pink peppercorn; base notes are cade wood and cistus.
