Laurence Dumont Rose Sublime (2014) {New Perfume}
Laurence Dumont, a French brand with massmarket appeal and sometimes niche flair - think Comptoir Sud Pacifique with less hoopla - have launched a new scent called Rose Sublime...
The floral composition, part of Les Senteurs Gourmandes collection, is said to be about a modern, sparkling rose which has been made up of essences sourced in Bulgaria, Morocco and Turkey. It is meant to be a sensual fragrance symbolizing "absolute femininity".
The head notes start with mandarin and orange fading into a heart of rose, mimosa and an aquatic accord while the eau de parfum is anchored by amber, precious woods and white musks.
There is probably a gourmand twist as the collection name invites you to think.
Price: 20,50€ for 100 ml.
