Agent Provocateur Fatale Black (2014) {New Fragrance}
British lingerie brand Agent Provocateur are turning explicitly towards the myth of the femme fatale with their new floriental perfume called Fatale in French originally, now rebaptized Fatale Black on their website, if not on the packaging...
"An enticing, seductive and enigmatic scent with an irresistible signature personality, this fragrance exemplifies the dichotomy of the Femme Fatale."
The renaming is to distinguish it better from its new counterpart Fatale Pink.
The tag line is "Flirt with Danger". The new scent is said to be voluptuous, sexy and addictive.
The eau de parfum was composed by perfumer Jean-Marc Chaillan of IFF. It opens on top notes of Madagascar pink peppercorn, mango nectar, and exotic cassis. The heart features gardenia, royal iris absolute and Indonesian patchouli. The base is anchored by musk, exotic vanilla orchid, gourmand chocolate and leathery Spanish labdanum.
For the first time, the trademark grenade-shaped perfume bottles of the house is changed into a multifaceted Art Deco flacon more classically suited to a vanity table display.
The spokesperson for the fragrance is Spanish actress Monica Cruz, the sister of Penelope Cruz.
