French niche brand Comptoir Sud Pacifique have issued a new perfume called Jardin Néroli (Garden of Neroli) which wishes to offer a vista onto traditional, refined Turkish lifestyle...

The composition is said to be inspired by a vision of the luxurious mansions found on the edge of the water of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey, the yalis. In the garden, you are invited to imagine the air mixing the scents of heperidic trees with that of bushes of jasmine.

While these small palaces by the sea denote past grandeur, people continue to live in those abodes in which you can catch glimpses of an adapted Ottoman lifestyle.

The Eau de Parfum opens on top notes of petitgrain, mandarin and bergamot leading to a heart of neroli, lemon blossoms and Sambac jasmine while the Oriental base features amber, tonka bean and musk.

The fragrance is currently listed as their number one bestseller.
