La Sultane de Saba Santal Ancestral for Men (2014) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}

French spa, beauty and perfume brand La Sultane de Saba have introduced their first masculine fragrance called Santal Ancestral for Men...

The launch took place for Father's Day in France in June.

The Oriental fougère eau de parfum is meant for "men who are in love with sensual, spicy aromas." The scent evokes "the mystery of ancestral rituals of the Orient." It also captures the scent of barber shops of bygone days.

The fragrance opens on top notes of so called "ancestral sandalwood" and geranium followed by a heart of gaiac wood, cedar wood, patchouli, clove and nutmeg. The base is said to leave a particularly memorable impression with notes of benzoin, sandalwood, vanilla, heliotrope and amber.
