Rihanna will launch her first masculine fragrance from September 2014 with Rogue Man, the men's pendant to the original Rogue for women (2013). The pop singer then had promised, "Rogue comes in two installments, first is women's! Men's follows shortly after!"...
Donald Loftus, the president of Parlux, the licensee of Rihanna fragrances said,
"We don't know if a man will react to this, if a woman will buy this for her boyfriend or [a man] is hoping to turn into the guy that's in the ad," "The first bottle may be sold to a Rihanna fan, the second bottle [will be] because the bottle and the juice are just really fantastic."
Rogue Man is an oriental woody scent. It was created by perfumer Frank Voelkl of Firmenich.
The Eau de Toilette opens with black pepper, rosemary, clementine and bergamot developing into a heart of jasmine, cedarwood, labdanum and vanilla orchid and enduring with a base of sandalwood, musk, patchouli, amber and tonka bean.
The ad campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti. The male model is Daniel Ness.
Prices are $69 for a 3.4-oz. eau de toilette spray and $39 for a 1-oz.
