As oud has become more internalized a perfumery tonality and ingredient in European and American perfumeries, it is becoming more open to play instead of symbolising just Orientalism.

Tender Oud shows that tendency as it announces itself as a composition blending oud and almond, not a typical pairing of Middle Eastern perfumery but one which is inspired by two major directions our tastes are supposed to take with the gourmand and dark Oriental themes.

The almonds here have been used to soften the composition together with Damascena rose, Centifolia rose and dry woods notes.

The development is said to be slow and gradual, revealing notes one by one while the sillage is persistent and strong.
