Kate Spade Walk on Air (2015) {New Perfume}
Fashion designer Kate Spade will launch a new women's perfume from March 2015 called Walk on Air which is a new chapter for the house fragrance story-telling after Live Colorfully...
The name bespeaks of lightness, romance comedies to this ear, but also of casualness and New York for the brand.
"There's definitely a casualization going on with the brand," said Deborah Lloyd, president and chief creative officer of Kate Spade. "I wanted to create [a scent] that was more everyday."
Continuing with the color-coding of fragrances, Walk on Air suggests coolness, freshness and innocence with its powder-blue flacon adorned with a black ribbon bow in acrylic.

The floral composition which features a number of crisp and fresh notes is signed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan. The eau de parfum opens on top notes of linden blossom, calabrese bergamot, maiden's hair fern, Tunisian neroli and Solomon's seal seguing into a heart of lily of the valley, magnolia grandiflora, Egyptian jasmine and narcissus while the base does not abate on the floral theme thanks to crinum lily, white iris and violet leaf.
Model Laura Love will be the muse for the ad campaign shot by Ryan McGinley as she will be seen floating above the New York skyline. Her training as a classical ballet dancer will help convey the sensation of defying gravity thanks to inner happiness and of course, the perfume.
"The eau de parfum will be available in 3.4 fl. oz., 1.7 fl. oz. and 1 fl. oz. versions, retailing for $95, $75 and $55. Also, Walk on Air will come in a rollerball, $25; body lotion, $50, and shower gel, $45."
