Cartier La Panthère Eau de Parfum Légère (2015) {New Perfume}

Cartier have introduced a new flanker for their feminine pillar fragrance La Panthère (2014), a conceptual re-do of an old perfume of theirs, Panthère, now bearing a resemblance to the past only in name. La Panthère Eau Légère echoes likewise a previous opus (1987), albeit only in name...

The new La Panthère Eau de Parfum Légère is not only a lighter take on the original musky gardenia chypré, it also now features a new floral note, tiaré, to enhance its solar aspect, a facet which had already been underlined in the first fragrance.

While the brew gets a fair-weather adaptation by in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, it remains in eau de parfum concentration.
