Dolce & Gabbana Intenso pour Homme (2014-2015) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne} {Perfume Images & Ads}
In the fall of 2014, Dolce & Gabbana first introduced a new men's fragrance called Intenso now being released in more international markets, which wishes to attract men who are both modern and traditional thanks in part to a novel advance in perfumery technology...
The eau de parfum features a key "Moepel accord" described as a "brand new discovery in the olfactory world". It is the result of the recreated scents of the flowers and leaves of the Milkwood tree from South Africa, using Headspace technology.
Dolce&Gabbana Intenso is pure instinct; the power of an emotion that is freely expressed. It is the force of a determined man, with a heart that is rooted in tradition, yet revels in the modern world.
The woody-aromatic cologne opens on top notes of luminous Aquatic notes, green accents of Basil, Marigold and Geranium. The heart showcases lavender, tobacco and soft dry notes from Absolutes of Hay and Bran. The base is said to be luxuriously floral and balsamic with honey touches; it rests on notes of Labdanum, Sandalwood and Cypress.
Actor Colin Farrell is the face of the fragrance. Fashion designer Domenico Dolce explained,
"Colin epitomises all aspects of the Intense man. His physicality is commanding and his eyes have depth and are full of life. As an actor and man, he perfectly represents strength, tenderness and allure, the qualities that we envisioned for the male of our new fragrance."
The advertizing unveiled in 2015 was shot by photographer Mark Seliger. For all those who know the dedication of Dolce & Gabbana to the land of Sicily, you will be able to notice that there is an allusion to its volcanic nature and a discreet homage to poor Sicilian peasants who had to migrate to the United States. It is completely romanticized, yet present.
