Bulgari Eau Parfumée au Thé Bleu (2015) {New Fragrance}
Bulgari are launching a fourth fragrance in their Eau Parfumée collection which already comprises Thé Vert, Thé Blanc, Thé Rouge with now Eau Parfumée au Thé Bleu, a reference to a moniker for Chinese Oolong tea...
Thé Vert, signed by Jean-Claude Ellena, is the creation which allowed the launch of a thousand tea fragrances after it appeared in 1992.
The latest tea inspired Bulgari eau parfumée collection, ranging from the freshness of Thé Vert, to the refinement of Thé Blanc, to the sensuality of Thé Rouge, Thé Bleu, a manifesto to the gentle harmony of Oolong tea.
The composition is signed by perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan known - since her work for the Prada series of infusions - for her refined textures and capacity to translate transparency - and even create ethereal sensations, as we found out over the years following her releases.
As it turns out, Prada are also revamping their Infusion collection this spring.
The new fragrance was unveiled on April 18, 2015 at the Bulgari Hotel London.
Main top note is lavender, to accentuate the blue tonalities of the fragrance and the suggestive blue-green hue of Oolong leaves. The heart features the tea accord. The base is also bluish, thanks to the iris note.
