Michael Kors for Men (2015) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}
American fashion designer Michael Kors launched a new perfume for men called simply Michael Kors for Men, which is inspired by the jet setter lifestyle and reportedly the man who knows how to balance urban sophistication with a rugged approach...
The tag line is "The new men's fragrance for the ultimate jet setter."
The fragrance is also said to reinvent the patchouli genre for men thanks to notes of tobacco, spices and sueded leather. It features a set of notes of red fruits which would read "more unconventional" unless they are a direct quote from Thierry Mugler Angel.
The eau de toilette opens on top notes of bergamot, cinnamon, star anise, elemi, thyme, black pepper, coriander and cardamom. The heart of the perfume centers on tobacco enriched with sueded leather and incense. The base rests on patchouli, sleek woods, sandalwood, musks, and red fruits.
"Michael Kors has always been ahead of his time and this is true for the men's fragrance," says Trudi Loren, Senior Vice President of Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide, The Estée Lauder Companies, and the exclusive licensee of Michael Kors fragrances.
"This is for a man who cares about his appearance and really takes effort with his look and style. We created a fragrance that embodies all of that--a modern, woody, oriental fragrance with top notes of spices and nuances of aromatics that brings this man's man fragrance to life."
The advertising campaign features model Benjamin Eidem photographed by Mario Testino and filmed by Amir Mokri.
