Happy Easter to those who celebrate it.
We're turning to sunlight in water and on goldfish scales as symbols of longer days and brighter temps as well as a more playful season...
On Easter Sunday, religion was present on this fish stand but apparently, goldfish are meant to be associated with Asian temples and Buddhas rather than the cross or eggs.
If the sellers did their market research right, this means that primary buyers of goldfish tanks are adepts of meditation, tranquillity, contemplation, and perhaps Asian religions.
I like the way in which the pattern here seems to create a fish mosaic.
