The area was swarming with CRS guards getting ready to take their positions. So that the impression was that instead of finding bouquets of lily the valley, you got bouquets of military-trained women and men.
As the situation got under control later in the morning - now word on it was mentioned in the news - the muguet sellers appeared finally like each year like clockwork.
