What makes a photography feel like it captures the essence of summer ? There is the light, of course - but not always - and there are sensory cues.

In this picture, you can observe a general state of relaxation and find clues that indicate that the weather has become warmer.

What caught my eye is stated in the title: a pug next to potted strawberries. The droopy lines say it all: it's too hot.
