British toiletries & perfume brand Molton Brown have launched a new eau de toilette called Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold...

The new fragrance described as an "heady eau de toilette" is a follow-up to an eponymous luxury shower gel using 24-K gold flakes suspended in its formula.

At the time, Product Marketing Manager Katie Ellwood-Smith said,

"I was always fascinated by oudh, a scent that embodies so much depth and mystery - the promise of a rich Eastern heritage. To respect our lead
ingredient, we reveal its natural origins in the forests of Assam, Northern India - a fragrance that is an expression of truth.

As part of my research, I discovered oudh is referred to as 'liquid gold' because it can cost more than gold. I became intent on making this
blend our most decadent yet by highlighting the gold narrative. It was beautifully suspended, extravagant gold flakes in the body
wash and extended through the bottle design with our limited edition gold caps."
