Thierry Mugler Alien Oud Majestueux (2015) {New Fragrance}

Do you have a sense of humor? When we saw the words Alien Oud pop up in our mail box, the thought quickly flashed in our mind that this must be a prank. But no, it's for real. Thierry Mugler launched a new version of Alien called Alien Oud Majestueux (Majestic Alien Oud)...

The new composition is presented as an Oriental variation on the original woody white floral while it is labeled as a woody ambery floral.

The eau de parfum opens on top notes of cardamom and saffon followed by a heart of jasmine and Cashmeran underlining the olfactory signature of Alien "made more sublime thanks to the radiant wreaths of the oud accord." A "new opulence" can reportedly be experienced with this new Alien.

The inside of the new bottle has been resurfaced with mirrors to inspire "refinement and femininity."

Available in 90 ml for 130€.

There has been so much focus on oud these last times that it's become a bit of a running joke in perfume circles to try to guess at which perfume houses are still without their oud signature. We probably can expect an Angel Oud sometime in the future.
