Diptyque Oud Palao (2015) {New Fragrance}

French niche brand Diptyque will release a new opus from October 2015 called Oud Palao which makes reference to the material agarwood as sourced from Laos...

The fragrance composition is the house's first entry in the worldwide competition taking place around the showcasing of oud in perfumery. It's become more than a mega-trend, it's a veritable cultural revolution. Tiresome to some, almost unexplainable, yet very much happening as a cultural shift in our global olfactory culture, you will be able to tell your grandkids that you lived through it and what an adventure it was!

The new blend is an unisex concoction featuring notes of Bulgarian rose, Laotian oud, labdanum, Madagascan vanilla, Indonesian patchouli, and Ceylonese sandalwood.
