Brooklyn Soap Factory The Woods (2015) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}

American grooming brand Brooklyn Soap Factory are preparing to introduce their debut fragrance called The Woods...

The composition is signed by perfumer Mark Buxton.

"The Woods is a perfume that never stops evolves while wearing, creating a unique scent on every men's skin. A "non parfume" which will not capture its user in a cloud of essences, but instead surrounds him with an almost magical aura."

The eau de parfum has top notes of mandarin, black pepper, fresh ginger, bergamot and thyme followed by a heart of absinthe, Iris Pallida, red pepper and nutmeg. The base rests on myrrh, amber, musk, benzoin from Siam, cashmere wood, incense.

The packaging is made of turned birch wood.

Mark Buxton is a noted perfumer, in particular for his collaboration with more creative perfume labels. He is also considered the father of a modern type of woodsy accord made famous by the fragrances of the fashion house Comme des Garçons.
