Soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic chose the Champs-Elysées in Paris to meet his fans tonight on Tuesday evening October 27 for the launch of his debut perfume called simply Zlatan, which means "I'm slaying it" in Bosnian, almost. It actually means something not too far off: "Golden"....

The fans were there, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the champion turned perfumier. He's also been attached as a team member to the promotion of the official fragrance for the French soccer club Paris Saint Germain (PSG), which was released last year in partnership with S.T. Dupont.

After signing some autographs, Zlatan repaired to Marionnaud perfumery - one of the main beauty chains in France - where his cologne debuts as an exclusive.

As is almost ritualistic nowadays - or dare we say, polite? - he also took selfies with fans.

Some of his fans are actually trying to learn something from him, about the art of soccer.
For his perfume advertising, Ibrahimovic decided to play a more sophisticated game upon his perceived level of fame; his advert hides his face in part, which translates as "I am so famous and confident in my own self, I don't need to show my full face for the recognition factor to set in."
