Italian Fashion house Missoni are launching a new woody fruity-floral perfume for women called Missoni Eau de Parfum. This is the first fragrance produced by Euroitalia for the label which last released a series of perfumes in 2008...

The composition is signed by perfumer Quentin Bisch of Givaudan.

The edp opens on top notes of pear, Italian lemon, Italian bergamot and Italian citron seguing into a heart of Mahonial, Petalia® and Jasmine sambac while resting on a base ofTonka bean, Sandalwood and Ambroxan.

Mahonial is a new aromatic molecule introduced by Givaudan in 2014 to offset a regulatory restriction. It lends diffusiveness and lastingness to floral notes.

Actress and model Elisa Sednaoui, who was raised bi-culturally as both Egyptian and Italian according to the brand, is the face of the ad campaign. She has also been the spokesperson for a perfume by Roberto Cavalli in the past.

She has ties to French culture as she has played in several French films and happens to be the god-daughter of famous chausseur Christian Louboutin.
